Welcome to our 2017 August Hong Kong Auction Catalog. As always, we are offering an exceptional amount of scarce and high-quality material. A few pieces of paper money included in this catalog have yet to be offered in public auction, while others are among the finest graded for their type.

Among those high-grade pieces are some of the finest Ming Dynasty notes we have handled, which includes two pieces in About Uncirculated condition. A Shun Yee 100 Coppers note also makes an appearance. This note is the first one we have handled in any capacity in quite along time and one of few known in Very Fine condition.

One of the special collections featured in our catalog, is the Lucky Number 8 Collection of Hassan Al-Naimi, which includes an abundant number of Serial Number 8 notes. We are also offering a couple very special notes from the Straits Settlements courtesy of the Yuri Solovey Collection, which includes an elusive Pick 5 early 1916 dated 100 Dollar note.

As always, we have a strong display of People’s Republic of China notes. This display is led by a Pick 858a 1951 10,000 Yuan note in a stunning Choice Extremely Fine 45. Also included in this section is a Pick 857Ca 5,000 Yuan in About Uncirculated condition.

We are also offering a few extremely special Singapore notes. Two of which are an issued and specimen version of the Pick 8 10,000 Dollar Singapore notes.

Many other highlights are seen throughout this catalog and we anticipate quite a bit of collectors will be able to fill some gaps in their collection with notes they have not been able to find.

Happy Bidding!
