Luciana De Simoni (1957 – ) is an Italian artist/engraver working at the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (Mint of Italy). De Simoni earned a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Before joining the Mint of Italy in 1987, she designed stamps, lottery tickets, and other items for the Italian Government Printing Office.

Typically, De Simoni uses her initials “LDS” on her designs. Alternatively, she will sometimes inscribe her name in long form as “L. DE SIMONI.” Design credits include the 2002 two-euro cent coin and the 2014 Carabinieri two-euro coin.
