“Lincoln in Numismatics, the Evolution of a National Symbol vs. Reality”, presented by Douglas Mudd
Explore the numismatic legacy of Lincoln and how the impressions left on coinage, tokens, currency and medals combine to create a numismatic snapshot of the president and how closely this snapshot compares to the historical Lincoln.
Douglas Mudd is the Curator of the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum and former Collections Manager for the National Numismatic Collection in the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History. He is the author of the Harper/Collins book All the Money in the World (2006).

This unique and award winning collection is a must-see for the whole family.
Charmy Harker, aka the Penny Lady, has amassed a one-of-a-kind collection of some of the more unusual, scarce, and creative examples of Lincoln penny exonumia. She specializes in Flying Eagle, Indian, Lincoln and Early American Copper Cents. She is the current president of Women in Numismatics and is an active member of numerous numismatic organizations.
