Archives International Auctions (AIA) is set to hold a public auction of Chinese, Asian & Worldwide Banknotes and Chinese Scripophily in Fort Lee, New Jersey on Tuesday, June 28 beginning at 10:30 A.M. Eastern Time (ET).
The virtual catalog, as well as the Live Internet Bidding catalog will be available this week. Hard copies of the catalog will be sent out later this week.
The virtual catalog will include photographs of every lot with additional photographs on our Live Internet bidding catalog on our website.
We accept absentee bids directly, so please contact us if you would like to participate in the sale.
Presently, we are working on our July 26, 2016 auction of U.S. & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, Coins and The first offering of the American Bank Note Company’s inventory of modern ABN reprint banknotes, vignettes, souvenir cards, Security Printing Ephemera and philatelic related sheets, cards and production material from their 1980s to early 1990s project. This inventory of thousands of security printed items have been in storage for the last 20 years.
This sale will feature more amazing banknotes from the Silicon Valley Collection. We are also privileged to offer a comprehensive worldwide coin collection consigned by a New York area educational institution with over 145 albums filled with over 20,000+ coins with many little gems and possible sleepers included as well as a high percentage of silver coins in this unsearched collection.
If you have suitable material, we are still seeking consignments for our upcoming 2016 auctions including our July and September sales.
