The first week in November offers an unprecedented opportunity for bidders at Heritage’s World Headquarters in Dallas. In addition to our customary Fall Dallas Signature Auction, we are pleased and privileged to offer selections from the incomparable Eric P. Newman Collection in exciting, back-to-back auction events.
The Eric P. Newman auction is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1 – currency selections in the morning and afternoon, and U.S. Coins in the evening. Many exceptional Colonial, early silver type, and Territorial gold issues highlight the day’s coin lots. As always, all Eric P. Newman currency and coins are offered on behalf of The Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. The lots are featured in three separate catalogs – two for currency, and one for U.S. coins.
Then, a full slate of Dallas Signature sessions follows on Thursday and Friday November 2-3. Session 1 (Colonials through quarters) starts promptly at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, followed by a loaded Premier Session Thursday evening with 478 high-value lots that represent a cross section of federal coinage. On Friday afternoon, Session 3 features half dollars, dollars, and commemoratives, while the Friday evening Session 4 is devoted to gold and patterns. Finally, an Internet-only session is scheduled for noon CT Saturday.
