Dear bidders and coin enthusiasts,

After three eventful auction days the final bid was taken on June 25. More than 4,000 lots were auctioned off. The total result was almost €9 million ($9.9 million USD), including buyers premium.

Auction 263 started with gold and silver coins from the Friedrich Popken Collection, which was awarded with a total hammer price of €430,000 ($473,000) and therefore exceeded the estimate by about 60%. Also especially successful was a series of rarities from the city of Erfurt, which doubled its estimate compared to its original estimate.

We would like to thank all the coin collectors and coin dealers, who took part in this years Osnabrück summer auction and we are very much looking forward to welcome you to our fall auction from September 29th to October 2nd.
