The first highlight coin is an 1849 10c PCGS/CAC Proof 66 (OGH). From a mintage of only four pieces, this early dime is housed in an old PCGS Holder and hails from the Starr collection. Fresh and off the market for over 20 years, this example exhibits beautiful rose, blue, and golden highlights and with CAC approval is ideal for the collector who truly appreciates rarity.
Our second highlight coin is an 1860 $1 PCGS/CAC Proof 64. Deep blues and purples combine into a pleasant combination for this rare CAC-approved proof dollar, of which there were only 1,330 proofs struck that year.
Our third highlight is an 1882-CC $1 PCGS MS67 PL. This coin is a popular Carson City issue desirable with PL designation and is tied for the finest Prooflike example. The only piece graded finer is a MS67 DMPL that would command well over $30,000!
