Trigometric — based in Petaling Jaya, just west of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia — is one of the most respected numismatic firms in that Southeast Asian nation. Trigometric was founded by KN Boon, an expert who has written several important reference books about the coins and paper money of Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macao. In addition to its retail operations, the company holds a couple auctions a year, with a focus on Malaysian banknotes.
