NGC has certified Newman Part V, which includes many extraordinary Early American coins and US gold rarities.

ngcnewman5NGC was once again enlisted to grade selections from the extraordinary collection of 103-year-old American numismatic researcher and writer Eric P. Newman. The fifth installment of the collection comprises nearly 1,000 coins and boasts a variety of exceedingly rare and high-grade US Colonial, Territorial and Federal issues.

These selections build upon the phenomenal Colonial and Post-Colonial pieces previously offered in Part IV. Included are a remarkable six high-grade Continental Dollars, five significant 1792 Washington pieces, a 1776 New Hampshire copper, four rare Confederation coppers and many more outstanding pieces.

Also featured in Newman Part V are several superlative gold coins, including the finest known 1867 Double Eagle, graded NGC MS 66, and two dozen Territorial gold pieces.
