A Silver Dollar seminar is being offered at the SoCal Coin & Currency Show on July 18-20 at the Ontario Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Way, Ontario, CA 91764.
The Silver Dollar seminar offers a great opportunity to learn from the industry’s leading experts. John Highfill, author of the Comprehensive Silver Dollar Encyclopedia and founder of the National Silver Dollar Roundtable, will be speaking for the first time at this show with Logan McKechnie, publisher of the VAMView Retail Price Guide.

The first sixty seminar registrants will receive a numismatic publication and a drawing will be held for the Comprehensive Silver Dollar Encyclopedia at the end of the seminar. Seminar is held on Saturday at 12:15pm. Seating is limited.
The ANACS will accept submissions onsite at the show all three days. Established forty years ago, ANACS is America’s oldest third party coin authentication and grading service. ANACS attributes over 3200 VAM varieties.
Dealer set-up and early bird entry hours are Thursday July 18-20 from 9 am to 12 noon. The show opens Thursday at noon to 7pm. Friday hours are 10am to 7 pm, Saturday opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. A free numismatic gift will be given to the first 300 attendees per day.
Throughout the show, Kid’s Korner provides free coins for young numismatists and mini coin classes for kids ages 6-12. Offered are Boy Scout coin collecting merit badge workshops and Fun with Money patch clinic for Girl Scouts.Two sessions are taught by Patti Finner, former American Numismatic Association vice-president, on Friday, July 19 at 4:00pm and Saturday, July 20 at 9:30am. The SoCal Coin and Currency Show is located five minutes from the Ontario International Airport and 45 min from Southern California tourist attractions.
The SoCal Coin and Currency Show is held twice a year. The winter show is set for December 12-14 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California. Public admission is $3 (for all three days) and a coupon is downloadable online. There is free admission for members of any coin or stamp club, seniors 65 or over, military in uniform and children 8 years old or younger. Visiting dealer admission is $40 and exhibitor table fees start at $385.
