Each week, CoinWeek, in collaboration with the Numismatic Bibliomania Society, brings you a highlighted feature from the current volume of the E-Sylum eNewsletter.
This week, e-Sylum contributor Tom Wetter announces the launch of the Numismatic Bibliomania Society’s newly launched Wiki for the auction sales of W.E. Woodward.
Tom Wetter writes:
After quite some time and a lot of work, the NBS Wiki page for W. E. Woodward auction sales is virtually complete. Every sale is now documented and there are images of some items that have probably never been seen by a great many of us. An unrecorded Addenda for Sale 91, plate envelopes for the Vicksburg sales, the ultra rare sales #1, #92 and Sale A. Many of these are in remarkable condition.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Michael Sullivan, Charlie Davis and David Hirt for their assistance and expertise, and also for all of the images that were provided.
The NBS web site Wiki is a fabulous resource that keeps getting better and better. Tom has been quietly working to flesh it out. Thanks to an earlier E-Sylum call for assistance, Dave Hirt provided some of the last images we needed. Sometimes the best part of my role as Editor is playing matchmaker on worthy projects like these. -Wayne HomrenClick here to read the rest of this week’s issue of the E-Sylum eNewsletter.
