Our Sunday Internet Auction #1072 offers a lovely Key S-mint Mercury dime, a registry-quality Morgan dollar, a lovely early $5 Gold piece and countless numbers of PCGS-, NGC-, and CAC-certified pieces. In all, there’s a vast selection of over 350 New Items, featuring 85 No Reserve Lots and 25 Vault Value Items. All lots will begin closing at 8 pm EST on Sunday, July 7.
Our first highlight coin is a 1919-S 10c PCGS/CAC MS64 FB. A key S-mint Mercury dime with lovely rose and golden tints around the rim with fully frosty fields that is especially scarce in full bands.
This week’s second highlight is an 1893 $1 PCGS MS66. The 1893-P is a better date in the Morgan Dollar series with a low mintage of just 378,000 coins. This piece is equaled by only five other examples for the date, but in eye appeal, it is certainly one of the headliners. With frosty surfaces and brilliant luster, this example is sure to please the most discriminating of collectors.
Our final highlight is an 1806 $5 NGC/CAC AU58 (Pointed 6, 8×5 Stars). This piece is a lovely AU example of this scarce early half eagle. With pretty lustrous yellow fields with light orange highlights, it is no wonder this coin is CAC-approved for quality.
