This week’s highlight first selection is an 1845 H10c PCGS/CAC Proof 64. Beautiful olive, gold, and rose tones. Impressive mirrors lie beneath the beautiful tones. An important rarity in Proof formats, the official mintage is unknown, and there are only eight specimens known to exist, one of which is in the Smithsonian. An extremely rare issue that is only bested by three examples.
Our second auction highlight is an 1826/5 1c PCGS MS62 BN. A very tough date in the series, this is one of the nicest examples that we’ve offered. Original brownish-olive tones with pretty remaining luster.
This week’s third auction highlight is a 1921 Morgan $1 PCGS MS67. An absolutely gorgeous superb gem with fantastic luster that is tied for finest known.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, April 9.
