Auction 227 on March 11th – 4:30 pm CET

The Collection Dr. Edoardo Curti:
Selected Medieval Coins from the Migration Period to the Hundred Years War

Collecting and research go together like two sides of a coin for the well-known numismatist Dr. Edoardo Curti. The composition of a thematic collection is a means to explore a numismatic sphere.
As a result each item was only chosen for this collection, if it can be considered as an exemplary piece in quality and rarity of the respective coin type.

In this collection with a European orientation, you will find unique coins from the Middle Ages to the Hundred Years War. Especially a series of nearly 350 lots with a particular focus on the Carolingian period is an example of the excellence and thoughtfullness found in this collection.
