Party Like It’s 1800 – Highlights from David Lawrence Rare Coins Internet Auction 992

By David Lawrence Rare Coins ……

Our Sunday Internet Auction #992 offers a fantastic selection 265 New Items, 50 No Reserve lots and 25 Vault Value items. Be sure to browse and bid early as all lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, December 24. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week’s sale include:

Our first highlight is an 1800 H10c NGC MS65. Lovely fresh gem of the early half dime. Lightly toned with smooth, lustrous surfaces and well struck. In our opinion this is a tremendous value as an early U.S. type coin in a top grade.

This week’s second highlight coin is an 1800 $1 PCGS/CAC AU58 (AMERICAI). A beautiful early bust dollar with a light grayish tint. Several small toning marks are noticeable, but the wear is so light that it’s hardly traceable, save for the high points on the hair of Liberty. A really choice AU example with aspirations of being uncirculated.

Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, December 24.
