PCGS Offering Two Coin Grading Classes at June 2013 Long Beach Expo

Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com) will conduct two coin grading classes at the upcoming Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo.  The courses, “Coin Grading 101, Introduction to Grading: Circulated and Mint State Coins,” and “Coin Grading 102, Advanced Grading Techniques: Qualifiers, Proof Coins and High Grade Moderns,” will both be offered on Saturday, June 8, 2013.

“The initial Coin Grading 101 class presented at this past February’s Long Beach Expo was so popular we had to turn down some people who wanted to take it; there just wasn’t enough room to accommodate everyone.  So, we’re offering it again in June, and also offering a more advanced class, Coin Grading 102, as part of a continuing series of PCGS Collectors Education Programs,” said Don Willis, President of PCGS, a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT).

Each class will be five-hours in length, and conducted from 10 am to 3 pm.  Attendees in both classes will have a complimentary lunch with PCGS Co-Founder and Collectors Universe President David Hall, PCGS CoinFacts™ President Ron Guth and PCGS Education Director Michael Sherman.

Coin Grading 101 will be taught by Sherman, and Coin Grading 102 will be taught by Guth.
