Background
Since 2015, CIT Coin Invest AG has been annually issuing the “Magnificent Life” series, presenting colorful images of creatures. After Peacock (2015), Wasp Spider (2016) and Cobra (2017), the newest edition is dedicated to the red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas). With its attractive colors of bright green, yellow, blue, crimson and orange, it is popular in terrariums around the world.
Red-eyed tree frogs are one of the most charismatic rainforest species and embody the neotropical ecosystem on a multitude of company logos, hotels, nature reserves and more. Surprisingly, however, the ornately colored frog species is a master at disguise and presents a tough challenge to seek out in the wild. During the day the frogs hide their colorful legs, feet, and eyes and crouch down to perfectly blend in with the surrounding green foliage.
Typical design features of the “Magnificent Life” series are the slightly concave reverse and the precision with which the colored parts and the perfect background alternate. So far, all items of every edition in the series were sold out within a short time. It is to be expected that the charismatic Tree Frog as the collection’s youngest representative will meet the same fate.
