Professional Numismatists Guild Website Has New Address, Appearance and Features

The Professional Numismatists Guild has changed its online address and changed the appearance of its website to make it easier for collectors, dealers and the general public to get information.  The new address is www.PNGdealers.org.

“We decided that because we’re an organization, we should change our URL from .com to .org when we updated the look of the website,” explained PNG Executive Director Robert Brueggeman.

Anyone going to the old address will be automatically sent to the new website.

Professional Numismatists GuildThe redesigned PNG home page has a prominent link to locate PNG member dealers throughout the United States and in seven other countries.  There is also information about the upcoming PNG mentoring program, “Promoting Numismatic Growth,” for aspiring professional numismatists as well as links to the latest PNG news releases and consumer protection advisories.

Two PNG consumer education pamphlets now are available in their entirety as PDF documents on the new website, “Things To Know Before You Buy Rare Coins” and “The Pleasure of Numismatics.”

Another important new feature of the website’s homepage is the continually updated spot prices for gold, silver and platinum provided by Dillon Gage Metals.  The latest PNG news releases and consumer education and protection advisories now are headlined on the home page with hyperlinks to the full texts in the news release archive section.

The revamping of the website was a major goal of Jeffrey Bernberg during his recent term as PNG President.  PNG Board members Mitchell Battino and Dana Samuelson and newly-installed President Terry Hanlon coordinated the redesign project.

Founded in 1953, the nonprofit PNG is composed of many of the country’s top rare coin and paper money dealers and also has members in seven other countries.  For additional information, visit online at www.PNGdealers.org or call (951) 587-8300.
