This week’s highlight is an (1837-42) C.Bechtler G$1 NGC MS62 (28G, N REVERSED). A gorgeous territorial gold issue with light rose-gold tints. It displays beautiful surfaces with amazing eye appeal. Manufactured in North Carolina during one of the least publicized gold rushes in U.S. history, these issues are absolutely fascinating and are a precursor to the more well-known California Gold Rush of the 1840s and ’50s.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, August 13.
