The Patriot Collection of Liberty Seated Half Dollars is a unique selection of registry-quality Seated half dollars, each piece is among the top grade per date. Our first highlight coin is an 1855 50c PCGS/CAC MS66 (Arrows, WB-101) ex: Pogue/Pryor with beautiful rainbow tints with gorgeous blue, gold, and green tints. A true CAC rarity, this coin is of the utmost overall quality and is perfect for the advanced type collector!
This week’s second highlight is an 1892 $1 PCGS MS66. Blazing white surfaces with fantastic eye appeal, this piece is bested by no other examples at either service. Tied with nine others as the finest graded, the last auction appearance of a similar coin realized just under $50,000!
The third highlight is an 1886 $1 PCGS Proof 67+. A registry quality ultra gem Proof Morgan with lovely smoky blue tints and lovely underlying surfaces. This piece comes from a mintage of 886 coins struck in proof format.
Our final highlight is an 1854-C $2 1/2 PCGS/CAC MS62. An amazingly choice MS62 example that is tied with three others at PCGS as the finest example. Gorgeous, lustrous surfaces with a light orange tint, this piece exhibits everything you could possibly want for an outstanding Charlotte-issue quarter eagle. This CAC-approved example comes from a mintage of just 7,295 pieces.
