United States Mint Holiday Ornaments on Sale August 13

The United States Mint is releasing two products in anticipation of the upcoming holiday season: the 2019 Mighty Minters Ornament and the 2019 United States Mint Ornament. Both products will go on sale on August 13 at noon EDT.

2019 Mighty Minters Ornament (product code 19XC)

This first-ever kids ornament from the Mint is a unique gift featuring the Mint’s coin collecting ambassadors, the Mighty Minters. The front of the ornament displays the reverse of a 2019 Kennedy Uncirculated half dollar surrounded by Mighty Minters Eli, Layla, Timothy, and Kendra, and the words “UNITED STATES MINT” and “2019.” A colorful United States Mint Seal is on the back of the ornament, along with “Made in the U.S.A.” and “©2019 U.S. Mint.”

The ornament includes a silver cord and is packaged in a festive cardboard box with information about the coin and the Mighty Minters printed in the back of the packaging. Pricing is set at $24.95.

2019 United States Mint Ornament (product code 19XD)

The green leaves and red berries featured in the wreath design of this ornament come together exquisitely to capture the spirit of the season. The front of the holiday ornament displays the reverse of a 2019 Kennedy Uncirculated half dollar, with the words “UNITED STATES MINT” and “2019.” An engraved version of the United States Mint Seal is on the back of the ornament, along with “MADE IN THE U.S.A.” and “©2019 U.S. Mint.” A red ribbon is attached.

The ornament includes a red ribbon and is housed in a beautiful red box with a white platform. The United States Mint seal and the words “2019 United States Mint Ornament” appear in silver foil on the top of the lid. A separate Certificate of Authenticity with information about the coin and the ornament is included. Pricing is set at $24.95.

Orders for each holiday ornament are limited to 15 units per household for the first 24 hours of sales.
