Bob Campbell owns one of four know 1804 dollar electrotypes that has recently been certified by PCGS. These issues have been known for years but this is the first time a major grading service has encapsulated one. Mark Ferguson is a noted writer and coin dealer who has specialized in research on the 1804 dollar. Both dealers discuss the significance of this mint issued coin.
