The Twin Leaf Collection of Large Cents is the current finest collection of Middle Date and Late Date large cents, 1816-1857. It also includes the extremely rare Patterns of 1868, in Nickel and Copper, as well as more than 50 Proofs from 1817 to 1857–an unparalleled selection of these rarities that are seldom included in even the finest collections of large cents beyond a few representative pieces.

The focus of the collection was twofold, both quality and completion. An incredible number of Condition Census coins are included, as are issues that are unique for variety or format. In addition, early die state coins were desired by the collector, and many issues will be found to be exceptionally sharp, prooflike, and attractive examples.

The Twin Leaf Collection stands tall among all of the greatest cabinets of Middle and Late Date Large Cents ever formed. It will be a highlight of our official auction of the Whitman Coin and Collectibles Summer Expo in Baltimore this July. Next week in Dallas, Texas we will have a special lot viewing opportunity at the Early American Coppers show.

John Pack and John Konop will be set up in the Las Colinas Board Room on the lobby level. Viewing will begin on Thursday, April 30th from 3:00PM-6:00PM and continue on Friday and Saturday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM.

Contact John Konop or John Pack for more information about the Twin Leaf Collection or to consign properties to our upcoming schedule of important auction events at (800) 458-4646.
