Spink has started Autumn in London with a remarkable two weeks of world records, historic rarities, and almost £6 million in numismatic sales.
We are delighted to announce a number of record-breaking figures for some extraordinary world coins and banknotes. Some of the rarest items on the market have gone under the hammer over the past weeks, spread across six sales.
Speaking of recent weeks, Head of Numismatic Division Mike Veissid said: “We have been able to offer some wonderful material, delivering an eventful calendar of numismatic events to coincide with the top Banknote Shows in Europe, and Coinex here in London.”
“The result was a number of world records, some intriguing collections, and material previously unseen on the market.
