The image of the peacock was used as the Imperial Seal. Superb and artistic enamel workmanship. Pin-back mount removed.

An exceedingly rare pair of essais, the only examples of the date we can find and unrecorded in Mazard. Grades as follows: Obverse PF64; Reverse PF65. Superb deeply mirrored surfaces with frosted cameo devices. Deep honey-gold color.
