Story
The first Sand Dollar was issued by CIT Coin Invest AG in 2017. The coin from Palau got its name from one of nature’s marvels. In reality, it is the skeleton of a sea urchin. However, as soon as the sun has caused it to fade to a white-silver color, beach visitors may well confuse it with an old Spanish or American silver dollar.
