On April 7, coin dealer Chris Lyche was alerted that his brick and mortar coin shop, GSA Coins & Jewelry, had been robbed.
Despite installing a new security system and taking every available precaution, Chris’ business was completely wiped out.
Surveillance footage of the incident showed a seasoned thief, who seemingly knew where everything was hidden. He was in and out fast and left in a getaway vehicle that didn’t have tags or plates. To make matters worse, there were no traffic cameras active around Chris’ business, so police had very little to go on in order to track down this thief and recover the more than $75,000 worth of coins and jewelry that the thief managed to steal.
