The Italian State Mint has just released a limited-edition 2014 euro collector set, featuring a commemorative Silver 5 euro coin honoring the 500th Anniversary of the death of architect Donato Bramante (1444-1514).
The set comes housed in a sturdy plastic blister pack, which slides into a thick paper sleeve. Printed on both are architectural renderings of Bramante’s famous Santa Maria della Consolazione (constructed 1508-1607).
This special mint set has a face value of € 10.88 and features one example of each of Italy’s circulating euro coins from 1 cent to 2 euros, and also includes the 2 euro commemorative coin, honoring the 450th Anniversary of the birth of Galileo Galilei.
