Kolbe & Fanning New Releases

Kolbe & Fanning have been adding new publications to our website and restocking other recent works in an effort to expand our online retail offerings of numismatic books. Recent additions include:

All currently available volumes of the Monete Italiane Regionali series published by Varesi.

New publications by the American Numismatic Society (ANS), including Brian Stickney’s A Monetary History of Central America; the fascinating Roman Coins, Money, and Society in Elizabethan England; and William E. Metcalf’s The Later Republican Cistophori.

Recent European numismatic books publications including: Gunmoney by Philip Timmins; François Thierry’s important Les Monnaies de la Chine Ancienne à la Fin de l’Empire; the second edition of Andreas Pangerl’s beautiful recent work on 500 Years of Roman Coin Portraits; a new festschrift, Studies in Ancient Numismatics in Honour of Dimitar Draganov; and Jürgen Lorenz’s Die Medaillons der Römischen Kaiserzeit.

Various American numismatic books publications, including our own tribute volume published in honor of George F. Kolbe and his contributions to numismatic literature; Osburn & Cushing’s Liberty Seated Dollars: A Register of Die Varieties; and the special edition of the important new work on the 1792 coinage by Pete Smith, Joel Orosz and Len Augsburger.

Other works including: Faces of Power: Roman Gold Coins from the Victor A.
