Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) has hired longtime industry consultant Irma Kane to serve as an Account Representative. Kane will primarily work with NGC Authorized Dealers on the West Coast to facilitate submissions and increase awareness of NGC’s bulk grading services.
A fixture at coin shows for more than 35 years, Kane brings extensive knowledge and industry connections to NGC. She began her numismatic career with dealer Fred Weinberg and would later work as the director of operations for the Treasures of Mandalay Bay Money Museum in Las Vegas. Most recently, Kane worked as the customer service manager for Teletrade, the online certified coin auction house.
Kane is well regarded for her professional and courteous customer relations. She has worked with many of the nation’s largest coin dealers as well as a number of collectors. “I am excited to travel across the country to show dealers the many benefits of NGC certification,” says Kane. “I look forward to meeting new dealers and working with those who I have known for many years.”
“We are very pleased that Irma is bringing her 35 years of experience to NGC,” adds Mark Salzberg, chairman of NGC. “The addition of Irma will help NGC to better serve its dealers on the West Coast.”

I only met Irma once, at a show, but remember her well, a delightful and knowledgeable person, and wish her success in this new venture.
The defections from Teletrade just keep coming
