Joaquin Jimenez (October 23, 1956 – ) is a prize-winning sculptor and designer of coins and medals. He currently serves as the Chief Engraver at the Monnaie de Paris. Jimenez designed many circulating and commemorative coins during his career, highlights include the French 5-franc “Eiffel Tower” design in 1989 as well as the 1986 French 10 cents coin featuring French allegorical goddess Marianne.
