Ben Costello, Director, 1715 Fleet Society.

On the 300th anniversary of the wreck of the Spanish Plate Fleet, the 1715 Fleet Society buried a time capsule in the Jaycee Park in Vero Beach, Florida. The intent of the capsule is to reach out to future generations and share some of the values and items of the past as the treasure being recovered from the wrecks is doing for people today.
