Uncirculated silver coin close to selling out as well
By CoinWeek News Staff….
The United States Mint announced late on Wednesday, July 29 that the 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters Blue Ridge Parkway 5 oz. silver bullion coin has officially sold out. Sales of the coin had only recently resumed on July 13 after having temporarily sold out by June 22, at which date a total of 35,000 units had been sold.
Together with the 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters Blue Ridge Parkway 5 oz. silver uncirculated coin, the two products have a total maximum production limit of 65,000 pieces.
As of the time of publication, 45,000 Blue Ridge Parkway silver bullion coins had been sold. Presumably this means that the silver uncirculated Blue Ridge Parkway coin is limited to a maximum mintage of 20,000; it has sold 18,861 of that total as of July 26.
The next coin in the series–the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge 5 oz silver bullion coin–is slated for release on Wednesday, September 30.
