This collection was painstakingly assembled and includes every die variety of this difficult series.
At the January FUN Show, Charles Morgan sat down with David to talk about this collection and what it’s like to see coins like this after a lifetime of working with the most important coins in the hobby.
David Hall calls early U.S. gold the coin market’s “beachfront property” and the coins that Taraszka assembled are not only located in an ideal location, but they are teeming with curb appeal as well.
In this video, David shows us three coins: a 1795 with 13 leaves, a large eagle 1797, and a Crosslet 4 1804. This exciting collection will continue to tour throughout the year and will be sold this summer at the American Numismatic Association’s (ANA) World’s Fair of Money.
