MintProducts Auctions Online Rare Coin and Currency Auction 106 is now available for bidding. The auction features 471 mostly unreserved lots with currency highlights including the second-known 1875 1st National Bank of Franklinville NY $5 and a very rare 1862 Brunswick Maine Santa Claus note.
The MintProducts Auctions sale 106 also offers several error notes, as well as high-denomination $500 and $1,000 notes.
The rare coin offerings are anchored by a CAC-confirmed PCGS MS65 1904-S Half Dollar that has a population of just one. This conditionally rare Barber Half Dollar was last offered at auction in 2014 when it brought $38,187. The 1904-S is estimated at $29,000 to $31,000 in the current sale.
