New San Marino National Sides
In 2017, San Marino will change the national sides of the coins after 15 years. The new coins are famous works of art and monuments such as:
- € 2.00 – Saint Marino, detail of an oil on canvas by Urbinelli
- € 1.00 – The Second Tower
- € 0.50 – The Saint Marinus, detail of a painting by E. Retrosi
- € 0.20 – The Three Towers
- € 0.10 – Facade of the Church and Convent of Saint Francis
- € 0.05 – The Church of the Capuchins
- € 0.02 – The Gate of the Country
- € 0.01 – The official emblem of the Republic

World Water Day 5 Euro Coin
The Canadian artist Andrew Lewis designed the coin five-euro silver uncirculated 2017 dedicated to World Water Day, an annual event established by the United Nations in 1993, to be included in the package with the eight new coins divisional 2017.
The reverse of the coin shows in the center a heart with the water cycle, the symbol of the care with which you have to manage and respect the water.
