And finally, we learn about the contraband gold ingots of the 1715 Treasure Fleet. Treasure Auctioneer Daniel Frank Sedwick is one of the hobby’s leading experts on treasure coins. He shares with us an “unofficial” four-pound ingot that appears to have been poured into a makeshift sandpit. It’s a cool piece that you won’t soon forget!
