Exceedingly Rare CANADIAN Coin to be sold at Torex auction next month

torex_logoAn “exceedingly rare” and valuable CANADIAN 1921 50 CENTS is set to be sold at the 2014 February Torex auction next month. This amazing piece has been graded by PCGS and it is believed to be one of the best known examples that exist. The coin has a lovely russet-gray toning with gold highlights. This is a gorgeous example of the “King of Canadian Coins”. Several years ago, The Norweb coin graded PCGS MS67 (and now out of the holder) sold for more than $300,000. A superb Gem issue that definitely warrants a look. The Canadian Coin Dealer Guide suggests $250,000.00 in MS65. This is once-in-a-life-time-opportunity to acquire a museum piece!

1921_canadian_50c_pcgs66Everyone who collects Canadian coins aspires to own a 1921 50 Cents. Few collectors ever have the opportunity, and fewer still can say that have owned a legendary coin. Unpriced in Trends above Uncirculated. The bidding will start at $235,000.00

The Canadian Numismatic Company is pleased to offer this wonderful piece of Canadian numismatic history. The current owner has known the pride of having this Canadian rarity for a few years, and now it’s time for a new chapter to be written in the story.
