Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) is now providing its acclaimed TrueViewSM high-resolution digital photography at no additional cost for all coins submitted for PCGS Secure™ Service.

“You now can have free, professional photography for all your PCGS Secure certified coins. These are high-resolution, museum-quality images that you can share with your friends and fellow collectors,” said PCGS President Don Willis.

With PCGS Secure, each coin is laser scanned and an image is made using the industry-leading TrueView photography process. The image is then registered into the PCGS Secure database. Through this process, the system digitally captures the unique “fingerprints” of both sides of the coin.

“This process allows your coin to be identified in the future should it be lost or stolen and then resubmitted to PCGS. Plus, with TrueView, you receive beautiful high resolution photography to showcase your collection,” said Willis.

Professional Coin Grading Service was founded in 1986 by distinguished numismatic experts, and now has offices in California, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Paris. PCGS experts have certified over 30 million coins with a total market value of over 29 billion dollars. PCGS represents the industry standard in third-party certification, and is a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT).
