NGC Launches Official America250™ Labels to Celebrate U.S. Semiquincentennial

Celebrate America’s 250th in Style with the Newest NGC Certification Label

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary in 2026, Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) is offering coin collectors a special way to commemorate this once-in-a-generation moment. NGC has partnered with the United States Semiquincentennial Commission to feature the official America250™ logo on a brand-new certification label, exclusive to NGC.

The NGC America250™ label

What is the America250™ Label?

The NGC America250™ label proudly showcases the official America250™ logo on the right-hand side, accented by a dynamic, waving American flag in the background. This label isn’t just a design element; it’s a tribute to a pivotal moment in both American history and numismatics. Collectors can expect these labels to accompany some of the most anticipated U.S. Mint releases in years.

Whether you’re collecting circulating coins, commemorative issues, or numismatic medals, this new label creates a unified visual theme for the historic 2026 releases.

“It is a privilege to work with America250™ to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States,” said Max Spiegel, President of the Certified Collectibles Group. “I’m excited to add this special label to my own collection.”

A National Celebration, On CoinsThe NGC America250™ label

The celebration of the Semiquincentennial began taking shape over a decade ago. Congress created the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission in 2016 to organize national events and commemorations.

In response, the U.S. Mint announced exciting one-year-only redesigns for 2026. These include circulating dimes, quarters, and collectible cents and half dollars. Most of these coins will also feature dual dating: “1776” and “2026,” echoing the iconic Bicentennial designs from 1976.

NGC’s America250™ label will be available across this wide range of issues and more. Some special editions will also be released exclusively through authorized NGC retailers.

How to Get the NGC America250™ Label

To receive this label, submit your U.S. Mint or U.S.-themed coins directly to NGC Headquarters in the United States. This option is not available through NGC’s international offices.
