From the Mint of Poland:
“Love”, “Faith”, “Friendship”, “Loyalty”, and “Hope” – these are the names of five silver tokens that constitute the extraordinary collection of coins called “The World of Your Soul”. The Mint of Poland is pleased to introduce the first coin from this series – “Love” – being the epitome of all feelings.
The Niue “Love” is a limited-edition $1 coin is a colorized silver coin that features an decorative center of holographic hearts.
The coin’s obverse boasts two distinct finishes. An outer ring is fully brilliant while the coin’s inner ring has a matte finish. In the center is Ian Rank-Broadley’s (View Designer’s Profile) effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Rank-Broadley’s initials IRB are located just beneath the bust truncation. The Mint of Poland’s MW mark (Warsaw Mint) is located to the immediate right of the queen’s neck. Wrapping around the outside of the inner ring, at the four o’clock position is information relating to the coin’s metallic content, which is expressed as Ag 999.
On the outer ring, wrapping around the entire coin is the following legend and the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, NIUE ISLAND, and 1 DOLLAR 2015. An outer band of decorative triangles separate the coin’s inscription from the rim.
In the center, a red holographic image of hearts in various sizes and configurations. Wrapping around this central motif is a decorate band made up of vegetal elements. An oblong circular shape comprised of mirrored panes wrap around the coin’s bottom. This is couple with a crescent design comprised of thin rectangles. Together, the two shapes form a circle. Bordering this circle is a thin band of filigree ornament. An outer band of decorative triangles touches the coin’s rim.
