PCGS Offering Distinctive, Special Coin Holder Labels For Long Beach Expo Submissions

To mark the 30th anniversary of Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com) on February 3, 2016, PCGS will offer a collection of distinctive commemorative insert labels for coins submitted at the February 4 – 6 Long Beach Expo (www.LongBeachExpo.com).

“PCGS shares its 30th anniversary with the United States Mint’s popular American Eagle bullion coins program. Since representatives of the Mint will be at the Long Beach Expo showcasing their latest coin releases, we wanted to be sure to offer Long Beach attendees attractive First Strike® labels that complement these coins,” said Mark Stephenson, PCGS Vice President and Director of Bulk Services.

Four different labels themes will be available for qualifying coins submitted at Long Beach by members of the PCGS Collectors Club or by PCGS Authorized Dealers.

The special labels are:

The PCGS 30th anniversary label for silver (shown here) and gold 2016 First Strike American Eagles.

American Eagle First Strike labels depicting an eagle and “30th Anniversary” banner for 2016-dated gold and silver coins.

“The Long Beach Expo marks the first opportunity for collectors to have coins graded with the new PCGS classic green retro 1986-era labels. As an added bonus, any collector who submits his or her coins to be graded with this new 30th Anniversary label will receive a free, limited edition throwback green PCGS box,” stated Stephenson.

Information about submission guidelines and fees for the special labels can be found online at www.pcgs.com/labels, and submission information and guidelines for First Strike designation labels is at www.pcgs.com/firststrike.

“These special PCGS labels for the Long Beach Expo are the first in a full suite of attractive inserts we’re planning in 2016 that I believe both dealers and collectors will love,” said Stephenson.

Since its founding in 1986, Professional Coin Grading Service has become the industry standard in third-party certification. With offices in California, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Paris, PCGS experts have certified over 31 million coins with a total market value of over 29 billion dollars.
